The preparation of a landscape plan is an important tool in both communicating the proposed design layout and in the preparation of an accurate estimate. Changes can be made to the landscape plan prior to any installation taking place, saving both time and money.

 

The design process is a series of steps:

 

1. The process begins with an on-site meeting to look at the site and discuss how the landscape area will be used and to address any functional needs such as drainage issues or slopes that need to be retained.

2. After the initial meeting, a proposal for design work is sent.

3. Upon acceptance of the design proposal, site measurements and photos are taken and a landscape site plan is created.

4. From the site plan, the design is created based on the needs of the client and the functional needs of the site.

5. After review by the client, changes can be made to the landscape plan if requested and an estimate for installation will be prepared.
